Besses o' th' Barn Band has been around for almost two centuries, in one form or another. That kind of legacty deserves to continue for a long, long time. Besses o' th' Barn Band is something that spans not just generations, but eras, which is something very special and has to be a rarity, not just in the UK, but in the world.
You can help preserve this legacy for future generations. It's a sad but unavoidable fact that any arts organisation, from a professional symphony orchestra with 100 players and scores of staff, to a small theatre company with just two performers, needs one thing constantly to survive - money.
How can you help?

With a greater level of investment, you could help us with some of our unavoidable running costs, such as:
- Maintaing this website to keep our audiences and fans up-to-date with our activities
- Purchasing and maintaining uniforms
- Hiring coaches for travelling to contests or concerts
- Buying new music
- Van hire for getting percussion/gear to concert venues
The help you could provide could be:
- Assistance in kind - providing a service to us free of charge, such as van hire, coach hire, uniform cleaning etc.
- Help in terms of financial sponsorship, so paying e.g. £50 a year to go towards the cost of running the website, or £500 a year to help cover our coach hire costs, or any amount however often you are able to enable the band to continue to provide high quality music and entertainment to local and national audiences.
