This intrepid reporter has just got back from an awesome concert in Sale, at St John the Divine Church, with a divine audience and three magnificent choirs and, of course, Besses o' th' Barn Band.
The Meadway Singers, Meadway Youth Choir and Meadway Junior Choir sang a lovely selection of songs, alongside Besses performing a variety of brass band music, including solos from James Murray (principal cornet), Jeremy Fonseca (principal trombone) and Ian Peters (principal E-flat bass).
A particular favourite for this intrepid reporter was the number from Sister Act that the combined choirs performed - excellent stuff!
