Besses o' th' Barn Band is in the second section based in Whitefield.

The band is one of the oldest in the world and is a world famous institution.

We currently have vacancies for a BBb Bass and a Percussionist. Players of other instruments will always be welcomed as we have players willing and able to move around to accommodate new players.

We welcome all players, whether up and coming and looking for a new challenge or experienced players looking for a change.

Our current players age from a wide range between 15 and 60+ and include students, music graduates, music teachers and professional musicians in addition to those who do it solely as a hobby!

We own our own bandroom which contains a bar! And we are very close to the M60 motorway, a main bus route into Manchester/Bury and Metrolink stations.
