Besses O'Th' Barn Band, one of the most famous brass bands in the world, are holding a chairty concert in aid of the Haiti Earthquake, with all proceeds going directly to the Disasters Emergency Committee.

 

Starting at half past seven on Saturday 6th February 2010, tickets are priced at £5 and are available on the door or by phoning Daisy Johnston on 0161 723 5272. The venue is Stand All Saints Church in Whitefield, just two minutes away from the band's historic bandroom.

 

As well as the band, there will be special guests including Dr Roy Newsome, famous band conductor and ex-presenter of BBC Radio's "Listen To The Band" programme.
